About Chip

Chip is a life-long resident of the Lakelands area. His family has lived in Greenwood for six generations. Growing up in Greenwood, Chip learned the values of hard work, faith in God and love of family. This is the foundation for his conservative political philosophy and the common sense business approach he'll take to Columbia. Chip loves his hometown and has been active in many community affairs.

Chip's Eight Core Beliefs

Chip is a man of principle, and these are the beliefs that guide him:

  1. The right to life.
  2. The rights that our constitution offers our citizens including the right to bear arms.
  3. Our government should enforce current laws.
  4. The Judeo-Christian values on which our government was founded.
  5. Government is at its best when it is limited in size and direction.
  6. Individual responsibility.
  7. Social and fiscal conservativism.
  8. Government’s most important function is to protect its citizens.
